Purpose: Our Mission: The Nashwaak River watershed should be managed as a healthy ecosystem that balances a variety of economic, recreational, social and landowner interests. All stakeholders on the Nashwaak are committed to sustaining the scenic and serene nature of the watershed in a manner consistent with the pursuits of all user groups. The Nashwaak River watershed should serve the community while maintaining a healthy resource for generations to come.
Purpose: To preserve ecologically significant natural areas through outright purchase, donation, and conservation easements.

Purpose: We are a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to celebrate, conserve and protect New Brunswick’s natural heritage, through education, networking and collaboration. Founded in 1972 as the New Brunswick Federation of Naturalists, the organization is presently comprised of a dozen naturalist clubs and hundreds of members across the province.
Purpose: The Nature Trust of New Brunswick is dedicated to the conservation of areas in New Brunswick that are ecologically significant, stewarding the nature preserves through a network of volunteers, and educating the public about the importance of land conservation.
Blacks Harbour, NB
Purpose: The NBALA is a province wide network of lake associations which is devoted to protecting and improving the quality of N.B. lakes for multiple values as well as promoting sound land practices around N.B. lakes. This mission will be carried out by assisting organizations and individuals through public dialogue, information exchange and collaborative efforts. The NBALA empowers established and potential member organizations to achieve their goals by promoting cooperation and serving their needs by providing a strong united voice.
Riverside Albert, NB
Purpose: Permanent moratorium on shale gas development in NB; Transition to a sustainable low-carbon economy
Purpose: a) Organize and participate in the planning of educational public conferences or forums. b) Work with other environmental groups. c) Promote and work with syndicated environmental committees in NB d) Follow up on environmental issues that preoccupy the members.
Purpose: To improve respiratory health. To improve both indoor and outdoor air quality and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases at work, home and play.
