Purpose: Environmental conservation - Help in managing the aquatic and riparian ecosystems and their natural resources with an integrated approach to foster the maintenance and enhancement of the population (wildlife, flora), the longevity of biodiversity, the continuous renewal of resources and the integrety of the so called ecosystems, of its landscapes and of the cultural witnesses that are present. Ensure the transfer of knowledge and appreciation of resources to raise awareness within the local population and visitors on their intrinsic values and demanding conservation. Development - Ensure the potential of certain sites and areas is valued in order to respond to the local expectations of to the local market, while considering the sustainable development of tourism, profitability, the economic sustainability of projects and intervention and the potential job creations. Landuse - Encourage use and management of certain sites towards development that is guided by ethics and ecological, environmental, social, and cultural considerations.
Purpose: To restore the fish habitat and fish stocks to an acceptable level. The Southeastern Anglers Association's mission is to oversee the sport fisheries and safeguard the beautiful rivers of the Southeastern region of New Brunswick.
