Active Hope: Empowering Youth for Climate Action

Climate change is the most complex challenge facing humankind today. Explore climate change and learn how to prepare students to meet the challenges of climate change as confident, solutions-minded citizens, now and into the future. The session will include an overview of research, strategies and resources for climate change education, and include opportunities for teachers to share ideas on how best to support and engage their students in climate inquiry and action. This session will highlight LSF's resource, Empowering Learners in a Warming World (climatelearning.ca).
