Scope of Activities: Provincial

Purpose: To improve respiratory health. To improve both indoor and outdoor air quality and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. To advocate for and undertake public education to reduce exposure to health hazards in the environment.
Activities: Environmental health research, advocacy and activities related to indoor and outdoor air quality, and climate change. Programs include reducing emissions (Drive Electric, and clean energy transition programs), clean indoor and outdoor air initiatives including Clean Air Day (first wednesday in June) and radon awareness month (November) and outdoor PM2.5 monitoring.
