Purpose: Promote the protection and sustainable use of the environment through education and raising awareness. Measure the health status of the river, undertake research on the state of resources, water classification in the targetted watersheds, distribute the information gathered and act as a liaison between the community and government services.
Activities: Our group is primarily interested in the quality of surface waters in the Kouchibouguacis and Kouchibouguac Rivers. Water quality controls, soil utilisation evaluation, restoration of riparian zones, education and awareness activities through schools and to the public in general are the main activities of our group.
