Climate Change Education

Climate change is the most complex challenge facing humankind today. Learning for a Sustainable Future’s 2022 “Canadians’ Perspectives on Climate Change and Education” survey of 6,500 parents, teachers, students and the general public found that 73% of Canadians feel that we are experiencing a climate emergency and 67% think schools need to give climate change education a high priority. Educators told us they are looking for effective ways to engage students in meaningful climate learning and action. Join us for a lively workshop to share research, strategies, and resources to actively teach climate education.
