Intro. to Invasive Species

The New Brunswick Invasive Species Council (NBISC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting New Brunswick’s ecosystems through education, outreach, and community engagement. We offer an engaging Introduction to Invasive Species presentation suitable for school-aged children, community groups, and individuals of all ages. This session covers what invasive species are, their impact on our environment, economy, and human health, and how everyone can play a role in prevention and early detection.

Our presenters are knowledgeable and passionate, with a focus on making environmental education accessible, relevant, and inspiring. While we aim to keep our programming widely available, we now request small honorariums when possible, to help cover delivery costs, travel, and staff time.

We also offer more in-depth training sessions for field staff, municipalities, and professionals. Visit our website or contact us to learn more about our presentation options and service offerings.
