Purpose: Extinction Rebellion is a global social movement aimed at pressuring governments to respond to the climate crisis by shifting rapidly to renewable energy and undertaking other actions to reduce atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations while creating millions of green jobs.
Activities: Our main activity is to organize peaceful climate actions to pressure governments to tell the truth about the climate crisis and to initiate the WWII-scale climate mobilization required to reduce GHG emissions in time to avoid irreversible runaway climate change.
