Purpose: We are currently leading a Canada-wide research initiative that seeks to take the pulse of ocean literacy in Canada. We aim to better understand Canadians’ relationship(s) with the ocean, the different approaches, enablers and gaps to ocean literacy, and effective ways to cultivate positive ocean actions.
Activities: Developing a national strategy for ocean literacy in Canada across diverse regions and sectors.
