Watch Your Paws: Nature Education for Children

The Watch Your Paws program is an engaging nature-based education program that will teach your students all about wildlife in New Brunswick. The program is run in two parts, first with an in-class interactive presentation, followed by our nature action challenge.
The presentation will introduce students to biodiversity across New Brunswick, habitats and the important benefits they provide for wildlife, as well as how humans are connected to nature. Students will also discuss the actions they can take to be stewards for the environment around them. Presentations can be delivered to classes in-person or online. The Watch Your Paws Challenge puts our messages of stewardship into action. Empowering youth to actively engage in stewardship activities, students are invited to create their own project to help wildlife that is important to them. With many curriculum links, the Challenge is a great opportunity to put what your students are learning in the classroom into action.
Watch Your Paws is a free experiential introduction to natural habitats and protected areas in New Brunswick and will inspire your students to take action for nature.
